Successful Event

How do you measure success? Is is by the amount of money that is raised for an organization or perhaps it's when a sales goal is reached.

For Slobber Kisses, success is measured when people try our product on their dogs and say, "I HAVE to HAVE it!" That's the reaction that we recevied at Dog Fest over the weekend. :)

We didn't sell out of collar covers and that perfectly okay! Instead, we met a lot of really great people, connected people to our company and to our products, and will be able to make a donation to PAWS, Inc. for all of the animals awaiting adoption.

We also connected with other vendors and will be participating in upcoming events. The next event that we will be at is called "Paws in the Pews." This event will be on July 10th from 10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Freedom Church in Sharonville, OH.

The will be a "Blessing of the Animals", Vendors, Contests and many more things that will definitely make your tail wag!

We hope to see you there!

Cheers!

Dog Fest 2010

So...Dog Fest 2010 is right around the corner. Actually, it is next weekend - June 12th & 13th. It will be held at the Voice of America (VOA) Park in West Chester.

Dog Fest originated in 1999 as a community event for West Chester where people could bring their dog or dogs for a day of fun with just a few events and booths, exhibitors and entertainers. Dog Fest, 2010 will draw over 15,000 people and their canine friends, food vendors, 110+ booths, entertainment, demonstrations, contests, and food for the canines and their humans too.

Dog Fest is now hosted by the Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), a no-kill, non-profit animal shelter in Butler County which houses dogs and cats until they are adopted into their own forever, loving home.

Dog Fest’s mission is to educate families about the existence of the many wonderful animal shelters and rescues in the greater Cincinnati area that take in stray and abandoned animals from the streets. They are housed, fed, and provided with veterinary care until loving homes can be found for them.
Many rescues exhibit at Dog Fest and dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages are adopted every year. Dog Fest also provides an opportunity for you and your dog to just come out and have fun, where your dog can participate in games, contests, and even a doggie parade!

So...stop by our booth at Dog Fest! When you purchase a collar cover from Slobber Kisses, $1.00 per every collar sold will be donated to PAWS, Inc. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those animals that need us most.

See you next weekend!
